Cobham partners with GA-ASI to lead Team Reaper Australia

Cobham, a leading provider of contract aviation services in Australia, today at the Avalon Air Show launched with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc (GA-ASI) the Team Reaper Australia solution for the Project Air 7003 requirement. Cobham will be the lead team member for GA-ASI in Australia.

Peter Nottage, President of Cobham Aviation Services said "Cobham and GA-ASI have been working in partnership for more than 12 years to introduce and prepare for the whole-of-life support requirements for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) in Australia.”

“We are thrilled to be a part of Team Reaper Australia and look forward to delivering and supporting GA-ASI’s world leading RPAS capabilities in Australia.

“Cobham has more than 20 years of experience delivering innovative and technologically advanced turn-key solutions in support of Australian government and defence operations” Mr Nottage said.

Cobham has extensive experience across Australia and Europe in support of defence and government operations, training and support requirements and this currently includes the provision of maintenance support for the Reaper Ground Control Station (GCS) at RAF Waddington in the UK under similar teaming arrangements with GA-ASI in the UK.
