Before you fly

Things to know before you arrive at the airport.

Check-in opens 90 minutes prior to the flight departure time.

Check-in closes strictly 30 minutes prior to the flight departure time.

Please ensure you bring photo identification, such as a driver’s licence, an employee identification card or a valid passport, to present at the check-in counter.

Children travelling with adults may be required to produce identification such as student identification, a Medicare card or birth certificate. Passengers who cannot provide sufficient identification may be denied boarding.

To help ensure your flight departs on time, please allow sufficient time for check-in. If you are running late and would like to contact the terminal please contact them directly on +61 8 9479 9700. If you will miss your flight or require your flight to be change, you will need to contact your site travel coordinator or travel team.

Personal electronic devices

The use of mobile phones or other personal electronic devices whilst embarking and disembarking the aircraft is strictly prohibited.

Specific instructions as to when mobile phones and other electronic transmitting devices can be used in "flight mode" only will be given by Cobham personnel and crew.

It is an offence to disobey the instructions of Cobham personnel in respect to the use of mobile phones and other electronic transmitting devices.


Smoking is strictly prohibited within the terminal and whilst on the tarmac. It is also an offence under the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations to smoke on board an aircraft. Any passengers breaching this condition of travel may face prosecution and potentially a future ban from flying.

Behaviour standards

The safety, protection and comfort of our passengers and employees are of utmost importance at Cobham. Behaviour that may put the safe operation of an aircraft at risk will be dealt with accordingly.

Passengers travelling with Cobham must:

  • listen and obey all safety instructions and commands of the Cobham personnel at all times whilst on board an aircraft;
  • listen and obey all safety instructions and directions from terminal and ground handling personnel prior to the flight and whilst embarking/disembarking the aircraft;
  • not be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Any person identified as being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is deemed a potential safety/security threat and will not be permitted to travel.

It is an offence under Civil Aviation Safety Regulations to be disorderly, offensive and intoxicated whilst on board and prior to boarding an aircraft. In a pressurised cabin environment, the effects of alcohol are greatly increased, therefore Cobham promotes a responsible service of alcohol policy at all times on flights where a bar service is offered. Consumption of personal carry-on alcohol is strictly prohibited.

In the event of disorderly or offensive behaviour, Cobham may deny travel, off load the disruptive passenger and/or notify the relevant law enforcement agencies.

Under the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations it is an offence to fail to comply with these conditions of travel and fines and a potential future ban from flying can apply.

Dress standards

All passengers are required to conform to their employee or contracting company’s minimum dress standards on all Cobham flights.

Our dedicated Perth passenger terminal is located at 26 Valentine Road, Perth Domestic Airport, WA.

Transport between the terminals (T3 and T4) at Perth Airport and Cobham's Perth terminal is by taxi only. There is a taxi ramp located just in front of the Cobham terminal.


Passengers at Adelaide Airport can board Cobham flights through Adelaide Airport (T1).
